PERCORSO INVERSO 

1. Come è nata la vostra band?

 

La band nasce dall'idea di tornare alle vere radici del rock e precisamente anni 60 70 e 80 riproponendo cover classiche e non. Il gruppo viene fondato nel 2010 da Diego e Max Badano e fino al 2024 il gruppo propone un repertorio di cover mentre dal 2025 inizia a scrivere e pubblicare inediti.

 

2. Quali sono le vostre principali influenze musicali?

 

Le influenze musicali sono da ricercare maggiormente nel periodo ottantiano spaziando dall'hard rock hair metal e glam fino ad arrivare al southern rock. Le band di riferimento sono Motley Crue,  Poison,  Dokken, Guns N Rose, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Queen, Skid Row, Cinderella e Scorpions ai quali più volte associati.

 

3. Come descrivereste il vostro stile musicale?

 

Il nostro stile musicale può essere descritto come un hard rock moderno, fresco e potente ma che strizza sempre l'occhio a sonorità passate.

 

4. Qual è il significato dietro il nome della vostra band?

 

Il nostro nome nasce dal recuperare e attingere ai caposaldi del rock e hardrock tornando a ritroso del tempo e da qui ne è derivato PERCORSO INVERSO.

 

5. Qual è stata la vostra esperienza più memorabile durante un concerto?

 

Probabilmente l'episodio più memorabile avvenuto durante un concerto è quando ci è stato regalato un completo intimo che poi ha dato il via a questa , chiamiamola, usanza capitata più volte in altri live.

 

6. Come nasce una vostra canzone?

 

Le nostre canzoni nascono da esperienze personali, di vissuto quotidiano o da ricordi indelebili ma anche passioni personali che vengono portate in musica.

 

7. Qual è il processo di scrittura dei testi?

 

Per quanto riguarda il processo di scrittura dei testi è riconducibile nella maggior parte dei casi al nostro frontman Enrico Soave che è il principale paroliere della band e come da lui riferito...spesso capita di avere già un ritornello e una linea melodica in testa da cui si sviluppa poi il testo.

 

8. Come decidete quali canzoni includere in un album?

 

La decisione di includere o meno una canzone in un album dipende in primis dal volere unanime di tutti e 5 i componenti della band essendo il nostro gruppo molto democratico e nel quale hanno tutti diritto di parola, in sostanza una vera famiglia. Secondariamente dipende molto da come lo sentiamo noi le prime volte che viene suonato in sala prove, da che emozioni e vibrazioni ci trasmette. La cosa più importante per noi in un album, brani molto diversi tra loro e che vadano a rispecchiare la nostra essenza.

 

9. Avete qualche rituale particolare prima di entrare in studio di registrazione?

 

Mettere le mani di ciascuno di noi, una sull'altra, con l'intento di fare un ottimo lavoro.

 

10. Qual è stata la canzone più difficile da scrivere e perché?

 

BROTHRT AGAINST THE WALL molto importante perché dedicato al nostro chitarrista Davide Fiorenza e a quello che la canzone racchiude in se come un messaggio per andare sempre avanti in qualsiasi situazione di difficoltà.

 

11. Qual è la cosa più strana che vi sia mai successo in tour?

 

Al momento non abbiamo ancora intrapreso un tour ma siamo molto speranzosi per il futuro.

 

12. Come gestite la vita in tour e il tempo lontano da casa?

 

Non possiamo rispondere in quanto mai capitato finora se non stagioni musicali nelle nostre zone vicino a casa.

 

13. Qual è il vostro luogo preferito dove suonare?

 

Sicuramente ci piacerebbe fare un bel concerto in uno stadio o arena, gremiti da tantissime persone, e al momento non c'è un luogo in particolare che prediligiamo, abbiamo suonato un po' ovunque perché alla fine la cosa importante è suonare.

 

14. Avete qualche aneddoto divertente da condividere sui vostri viaggi?

 

Contestualmente al discorso tour non possiamo però dire che siamo dei gran casinisti e ci piace divertirci e stare il più possibile, oltre al discorso musicale, insomma con noi qualcosa da raccontare e di ridere c'è sempre!!!

 

15. Come mantenete l'energia e la motivazione durante lunghi tour?

 

Anche a questa domanda dobbiamo rispondere con un ci auguriamo di sperimentarlo al più presto e farvelo poi sapere.

 

16. Cosa possiamo aspettarci dal vostro prossimo album?

 

Dal nostro prossimo album, che poi sarà in realtà il primo il cosiddetto battesimo di fuoco, avrete un concentrato di pura energia con brani potenti ma anche momenti più soft con qualche ballad tematiche profonde ma sempre propositive ed anche argomentazioni un po' più frivole per così dire, insomma un spaccato di ciò che siamo.

 

17. Avete collaborazioni in programma con altri artisti?

 

No, sinceramente al momento no ma siamo pronti ed aperti ad eventuali collaborazioni con professionisti ed artisti del settore e non.

 

18. Quali sono i vostri obbiettivi a lungo termine come band?

 

Sicuramente in primis suonare il più possibile e pubblicare qualcosa che nel tempo possa essere apprezzato e menzionato sia nell'odierno che dalle generazioni a venire.

 

19. C'è qualche genere musicale che vorreste esplorare in futuro?

 

Diciamo che il nostro background musicale è molto ben definito ma è bene non porsi mai limiti soprattutto in ambito artistico.

 

20. Quali sono i vostri piani per il prossimo anno?

 

Che poi per noi sarebbe il 2025, appena iniziato nel nostro caso, dedicarsi il più possibile al lavoro in studio di registrazione in quanto le canzoni per l'album sono già tutte pronte. La parte più difficile è ottimizzare il tempo di ciascuno di noi per rispettare la tabella di marcia che siamo prefissati.

22. Cosa fate nel tempo libero quando non siete impegnati con la musica?

 

Sicuramente passare del tempo con le nostre adorate compagne e famiglie, poi c'è chi si dedica saltuariamente al disegno come Enry e va a spasso con la sua cagnolina Maggie, e poi essendo anche un biker , quando inizia la stagione motoraduni salta in sella alla sua Harley. Chi scrive, e già pubblicato due libri, come Fulvio intitolati La sposa delle rose e La febbre del country. Max ad esempio è un appassionato videogiocatore e si divide anche tra giardinaggio e palestra. Davide invece vive letteralmente per suonare e collezionare chitarre mentre Albi passa il suo tempo libero a perfezionarsi costantemente sullo studio del suo strumento la batteria.

 

 

23. Qual è stato il momento più significativo della vostra carriera?

 

Enry , entrare nei Percorso Inverso, Max portare insieme a tutti i Percorso Inverso dove sono oggi.
Da la prima esperienza in studio fatta per l'appunto coi Percorso Inverso. Fulvio il momento attuale coi Percorso Inverso, Albi ora con i Percorso inverso e il futuro album.

 

24. Come vi rilassate dopo un concerto?

 

Enry sorseggiare un Jack o una birra, Max sorseggiare un Jack e...non si può dire, Davide non si può dire, Fulvio una bella sigaretta, Albi sorseggiare un Jack .

 

25. Qual è il miglior consiglio che avete ricevuto nella vostra carriera musicale?

 

Enry lasciati andare, vai sciolto e divertiti.
Max ringrazia per ogni giorno in più e fai tesoro di ciò che puoi imparare.
Da suona per divertirti e far divertire.
Fulvio quando ti viene bene rifalla.

1. How was your band formed?

The band was born from the idea of returning to the true roots of rock, specifically the 60s, 70s, and 80s, by re-proposing classic and non-classic covers. The group was founded in 2010 by Diego and Max Badano, and until 2024, the group proposed a repertoire of covers, while from 2025, they began writing and publishing original songs.

2. What are your main musical influences?

Our musical influences are mainly from the 80s, ranging from hard rock, hair metal, and glam to southern rock. The reference bands are Motley Crue, Poison, Dokken, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Queen, Skid Row, Cinderella, and Scorpions, to whom we are often compared.

3. How would you describe your musical style?

Our musical style can be described as modern, fresh, and powerful hard rock, but it always nods to past sounds.

4. What is the meaning behind your band's name?

Our name comes from the idea of recovering and drawing from the cornerstones of rock and hard rock, going back in time, hence the name PERCORSO INVERSO (Reverse Path).

5. What has been your most memorable experience during a concert?

Probably the most memorable episode during a concert was when we were given a set of lingerie, which then started this, let's call it, tradition that has happened several times at other live shows.

6. How does one of your songs come to life?

Our songs are born from personal experiences, daily life, or indelible memories, but also personal passions that are brought into music.

7. What is the process of writing your lyrics?

As for the process of writing lyrics, it is mostly attributable to our frontman Enrico Soave, who is the band's main lyricist. As he says, it often happens that he already has a chorus and a melodic line in his head from which the lyrics then develop.

8. How do you decide which songs to include in an album?

The decision to include or not include a song in an album primarily depends on the unanimous will of all five band members, as our group is very democratic, and everyone has a say, essentially a real family. Secondly, it depends a lot on how we feel the first few times it is played in the rehearsal room, what emotions and vibrations it transmits to us. The most important thing for us in an album is to have very different songs that reflect our essence.

9. Do you have any particular rituals before entering the recording studio?

We put each of our hands on top of each other with the intention of doing a great job.

10. What has been the most difficult song to write and why?

BROTHER AGAINST THE WALL is very important because it is dedicated to our guitarist Davide Fiorenza and what the song encapsulates as a message to always move forward in any difficult situation.

11. What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to you on tour?

At the moment, we have not yet embarked on a tour, but we are very hopeful for the future.

12. How do you manage life on tour and time away from home?

We cannot answer as it has not happened so far, except for musical seasons in our areas close to home.

13. What is your favorite place to play?

We would definitely like to do a great concert in a stadium or arena, packed with lots of people, and at the moment, there is no particular place we prefer. We have played a bit everywhere because, in the end, the important thing is to play.

14. Do you have any funny anecdotes to share about your travels?

Regarding the tour, we cannot say, but we are a bunch of troublemakers, and we like to have fun and stay together as much as possible, besides the musical aspect. So with us, there is always something to tell and laugh about!

15. How do you maintain energy and motivation during long tours?

We also have to answer this question with a hope to experience it soon and then let you know.

16. What can we expect from your next album?

From our next album, which will actually be the first, the so-called baptism of fire, you will get a concentrate of pure energy with powerful songs but also softer moments with some ballads, deep themes but always positive, and also some more frivolous topics, so to speak, a snapshot of who we are.

17. Do you have any collaborations planned with other artists?

No, honestly, not at the moment, but we are ready and open to possible collaborations with professionals and artists in the field and beyond.

18. What are your long-term goals as a band?

Certainly, first of all, to play as much as possible and publish something that can be appreciated and mentioned over time, both in the present and by future generations.

19. Is there any musical genre you would like to explore in the future?

Let's say that our musical background is very well defined, but it is good to never set limits, especially in the artistic field.

20. What are your plans for the next year?

For us, it would be 2025, which has just begun in our case, to dedicate as much time as possible to work in the recording studio as the songs for the album are already all ready. The most difficult part is optimizing each of our time to meet the schedule we have set.

22. What do you do in your free time when you are not engaged with music?

Certainly spending time with our beloved partners and families, then there are those who occasionally dedicate themselves to drawing like Enry and take walks with his little dog Maggie, and being a biker, when the motorcycle rally season starts, he jumps on his Harley. Fulvio writes and has already published two books titled La sposa delle rose and La febbre del country. Max, for example, is a passionate video gamer and divides his time between gardening and the gym. Davide literally lives to play and collect guitars, while Albi spends his free time constantly perfecting his study of his instrument, the drums.

23. What has been the most significant moment of your career?

Enry - joining Percorso Inverso, Max - bringing Percorso Inverso to where they are today together with everyone. The first studio experience made with Percorso Inverso. Fulvio - the current moment with Percorso Inverso, Albi - now with Percorso Inverso and the future album.

24. How do you relax after a concert?

Enry - sipping a Jack or a beer, Max - sipping a Jack and... it cannot be said, Davide - it cannot be said, Fulvio - a nice cigarette, Albi - sipping a Jack.

25. What is the best advice you have received in your musical career?

Enry - let yourself go, be relaxed and have fun.
Max - be grateful for every extra day and treasure what you can learn.
Davide - play to have fun and make others have fun.
Fulvio - when you do it well, do it again.
Albi - never give up.

 

Il nuovo singolo de Percorso Inverso è un emozionante brano di buon rock, dedicato a un membro della band che ha affrontato una grave malattia. Questo brano, intriso di affetto e professionalità, rappresenta un tributo sentito e commovente.

 

Il pezzo si apre con un arpeggio di chitarra elettrica, che crea un'atmosfera intima e coinvolgente. La voce del cantante emerge chiara e piena di sentimento, trasmettendo con intensità le emozioni del testo. The piece opens whit an electric guitar arpeggio, creating an intimate and engaging atmosphere. I Percorso Inverso sono stati fondati a Ovada nella primavera del 2010 dai musicisti Diego Badano alla batteria e Max Badano alla chitarra e voce, rispettivamente padre e figlio, con l'obiettivo di riportare in auge il rock che ha reso grande la musica negli anni '60, '70 e '80. Tra il 2010 e il 2021, la band ha subito diversi cambi di formazione e si è esibita su vari palchi, reinterpretando classiche cover di gruppi come Creedence, Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd e molti altri.

 

 Nel gennaio 2022, a seguito della scomparsa improvvisa del batterista Diego Badano, ricordato dalla stampa e dalle radio, la band ha affrontato una pausa momentanea fino al rientro di un giovane chitarrista, Davide Fiorenza, che circa dieci anni prima aveva già fatto parte del gruppo per le sue indiscutibili capacità. Con una formazione a tre, la band, in cerca di un nuovo batterista, entra in contatto per caso con Alberto Samuni, un batterista di grande esperienza, che si unisce stabilmente al gruppo. 

 

La band inizia mesi di prove per tornare in tour il prima possibile e ad agosto si esibisce dal vivo a Lerma, dopo un lungo periodo di assenza dalle scene. Nello stesso mese, Fulvio Maggiolo, polistrumentista che in precedenza era chitarrista, assume il ruolo di nuovo bassista, mentre il cantante Enrico Soave, già noto nell'ambiente, diventa il frontman e la voce principale, ruolo precedentemente ricoperto da Max Badano. A questo punto, la formazione è completa e la band riprende le sue attività live, esibendosi regolarmente nel 2024. Tuttavia, nell'ottobre dello stesso anno, dopo un'estate di grandi soddisfazioni, arriva una notizia scioccante per il più giovane componente della band, il chitarrista Davide Fiorenza, che si trova a dover combattere contro una grave malattia.

 

 La band, e in particolare Davide, affrontano la situazione con grande determinazione, e il sogno di realizzare qualcosa di proprio, già espresso in passato, si concretizza quando Enry, Max, Fulvio e Albi decidono in segreto di creare un brano per il loro compagno di musica Davide. Utilizzando l'OldWood Studio del polistrumentista Daniele Torassa di Arquata Scrivia, i quattro registrano in un mese il brano "Brother Against The Wall", dedicato a Davide Fiorenza. Il brano, scritto da Enrico Soave e musicato da Max Badano, Fulvio Maggiolo e Alberto Samuni, è un vero inno e monito a non scoraggiarsi mai e a lottare per superare qualsiasi ostacolo e affrontare le difficoltà della vita.

 

 Nella notte del 22 dicembre 2024, il primo singolo della band viene pubblicato su tutte le piattaforme digitali a livello mondiale, insieme al relativo video sul canale YouTube. Fin da subito, il brano riceve consensi unanimi, superando i 6000 ascolti in 72 paesi su Spotify in meno di 20 giorni, con la metà degli ascolti provenienti dagli Stati Uniti, in particolare da Los Angeles. Visti i risultati eccellenti e con molto materiale già pronto da registrare, la band torna in studio a gennaio 2025 con la formazione a cinque per registrare il secondo singolo, che andrà a far parte, insieme a "Brother Against The Wall", del primo e futuro album dei Percorso Inverso.

Alberto Samuni drums backing vocals Percorso Inverso was founded in Ovada in the spring of 2010 by musicians Diego Badano on drums and Max Badano on guitar and vocals, father and son respectively, with the aim of re-proposing the rock that made music great in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. Between 2010 and 2021, the band underwent several lineup changes and performed on various stages, reinterpreting classic covers of groups such as Creedence, Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many others.

 

In January 2022, following the sudden death of drummer Diego Badano, remembered by the press and radio, the band faced a temporary break until the return of a young guitarist, Davide Fiorenza, who had already been part of the group about ten years earlier for his unquestionable abilities. With a three-piece lineup, the band, looking for a new drummer, came into contact by chance with Alberto Samuni, a highly experienced drummer, who permanently joined the group.

 

The band began months of rehearsals to return to touring as soon as possible, and in August they performed live in Lerma after a long period of absence from the scene. In the same month, Fulvio Maggiolo, a multi-instrumentalist who was previously a guitarist, took on the role of new bassist, while the singer Enrico Soave, already known in the scene, became the frontman and lead vocalist, a role previously held by Max Badano. At this point, the lineup was complete, and the band resumed its live activities, performing regularly in 2024. However, in October of the same year, after a summer of great satisfaction, shocking news arrived for the youngest member of the band, guitarist Davide Fiorenza, who found himself having to fight against a serious illness.

 

The band, and in particular Davide, faced the situation with great determination, and the dream of creating something of their own, already expressed in the past, came true when Enry, Max, Fulvio, and Albi secretly decided to create a song for their music partner Davide. Using the OldWood Studio of multi-instrumentalist Daniele Torassa from Arquata Scrivia, the four recorded the song "Brother Against The Wall," dedicated to Davide Fiorenza, in one month. The song, written by Enrico Soave and set to music by Max Badano, Fulvio Maggiolo, and Alberto Samuni, is a true hymn and warning to never be discouraged and to fight to overcome any obstacle and face the difficulties of life.

 

On the night of December 22, 2024, the band's first single was released on all digital platforms worldwide, together with the related video on the YouTube channel. Immediately, the song received unanimous acclaim, exceeding 6,000 plays in 72 countries on Spotify in less than 20 days, with half of the plays coming from the United States, particularly Los Angeles. Given the excellent results and with a lot of material already ready to record, the band returned to the studio in January 2025 with the five-piece lineup to record the second single, which will be part, together with "Brother Against The Wall," of the first and future Percorso Inverso album.
